Transformations Tuscany was created as I reflected upon and as I create my journey to the Life I dream of.
After almost 4 decades as a leading lawyer and General Counsel for large urban public school districts, I look back on my career with pride and satisfaction in many many ways.
BUT ... I have heard the call of my soul and spirit over the years of personal and professional ups and downs, and that call summoned me to LISTEN.
I have spent the past five years getting clear about what makes my heart sing.
And I decided I want to live a life where I can always hear my heart sing.
I spent time figuring out what I was really about, at my core.
I spent time figuring out what it would take to align my CORE values and my PURPOSE to how I Live my Life; personally, professionally, spiritually, and in health and relationships.
I realized that the things I loved about my professional life , my volunteer hours, and even the satisfaction in my relationships all centered around making a positive difference, supporting others to succeed, and being creative and sharing enthusiasm, and leading and influencing change. I loved teaching, motivating, and mentoring others. I loved creating and making things happen that no one thought could really work!
I also loved authentic off the beaten track travel, especially Italy where my family is from.
Combining all these passions, along with getting crystal clear that my purpose is in mentoring, teaching, coaching and supporting others to succeed, I decided that becoming a transformational coach, where I could teach, and write and offer support to others for their success, using the backdrop of an inspirational destination (Tuscany), calling on metaphors and examples to convey the teachings and ideas, and Transformations Tuscany was born.
My own dream, of my son and I ultimately living in Italy, in a particular town with a personal history (more on that later), and creating a sustainable and satisfying plan for “a life after law”, inspired me to action.
After several years of dreaming, I put my dream into reality. I got crystal clear about my WHY, and then began taking steps to make it happen. Today, my son is studying in Italy and plans to continue his educational career there. We have an apartment in a small Tuscan Village, with the view of my dreams, and I am building a business which will help and inspire and empower other women to discover their purpose and pour their passion into the life they love!
Transformation Tuscany is created and designed FOR YOU! my soul sisters of a certain age and stage, who, like me, are looking over the horizon of the career and personal accomplishments, possibly facing the challenges of “empty nest syndrome” or even a divorce or sudden disruption to life as we know it caused by health issues, or job dissatisfaction, and the close proximity to retirement.
So, for everyone of us that has looked around and asked : OK Whats Next?
